Powder Ombré and Combination Brows in Perth
Soft shading, balanced shape and a finish that feels like you.
Powder, Ombré and Combination Brows offer different ways to add definition where natural brows are sparse or uneven. At ELKA CLINIC in Subiaco, we consider your existing brow hair, skin, previous tattooing and preferred look before planning your treatment.
You may prefer a softly shaded finish or hair-like detail with added fullness. The aim is a design that complements your features, with an honest discussion about what is suitable and how the result may heal.
A separate consultation is optional. If you have existing brow tattooing or questions about suitability, contact us before booking.

Choose your finish
Powder and Ombré Brows
Powder and Ombré Brows belong to the same shading family. Pigment is placed to create a shaded appearance rather than individual hair-like strokes. Ombré describes a graduated effect, generally softer at the fronts and more defined through the body and tails.
The amount of shading is planned around your brows and preferences. A shaded brow does not have to look heavily filled in. This approach may appeal if you enjoy a softly defined, makeup-like finish or would like more fullness through sparse areas.
Combination Brows
Combination Brows bring hair-like strokes and shading together. Strokes can add detail, while shading provides additional fullness and definition. Their placement and balance are tailored to the individual. Combination Brows are not automatically the best choice simply because they use both techniques.
If you prefer a primarily hair-stroke finish, explore our Nano Brows service.
Designed around your natural brows
Your preferred finish is one part of the assessment. We also consider your existing hair pattern, facial features, skin characteristics and any previous pigment.
Pre-drawing makes the proposed shape visible before tattooing, giving you an opportunity to discuss placement, fullness and definition. Natural faces have asymmetry, so the aim is balanced brows rather than a promise of identical shapes.
Colour selection is also individual. Hair colour provides a starting point, but existing brow hair, skin, previous tattoo and your preferred contrast all matter. Learn more about how ELKA designs your brows and choosing brow colour.
See genuine ELKA results
Real photographs help you understand the differences between a design preview, freshly treated brows and results photographed later. Our Brow Gallery includes ELKA client examples. Check each image’s treatment and stage rather than assuming every photograph shows a healed result.
You can also view a documented Powder/Ombré result photographed 12 months after one session, without a touch-up. This is one client’s experience, not a promise that everyone will retain the same colour or definition.

What happens at your appointment
Your appointment includes discussion of your goals, assessment and planning of the brow design. Relevant health information, skin concerns and previous cosmetic tattooing should be disclosed before treatment.
Once the proposed design has been discussed and agreed, treatment proceeds using the selected approach. You will receive aftercare guidance and information about reviewing the result as it settles.
Please read our Pre-Care Guide before attending. Do not stop or change prescribed medication without advice from the appropriate prescribing healthcare professional.
Fresh brows are not the final result
Immediately after treatment, brows can appear more defined than they will after healing. Appearance changes as the skin recovers, and healing and pigment retention vary between individuals.
Follow your personalised instructions and avoid judging the final result from the first few days. Our Brow Aftercare Guide explains how to care for the treated area.
A perfecting or touch-up appointment is separate from the initial treatment and is not included in its fee. The need for further treatment should be assessed individually.
Current pricing and booking
Visit the online booking menu for current treatment fees and available appointments. Perfecting and touch-up appointments are priced separately. You can book treatment directly or choose an optional consultation if you would like to discuss your options first.
Frequently asked questions
Are Powder and Ombré Brows different treatments
They are part of the same shading family. Ombré refers to a graduated finish. The density and placement of shading can be tailored to your preferred look.
Can shaded brows still look soft
Yes, shading can be planned for a softer finish. The appropriate shape, colour and density depend on your starting point and individual assessment.
Which is better Combination or Nano Brows
Neither is universally better. Nano Brows focus on hair-like detail; Combination Brows include both strokes and shading. Your skin, existing hair, previous pigment and preferred finish help guide the choice.
Can you treat brows that already have a tattoo
An assessment is needed. Existing pigment can limit the shape and colour achievable, and adding new pigment cannot erase an old tattoo. Read our previous-work and correction guide and contact ELKA before booking.
Is a separate consultation compulsory
No. Assessment and design discussion can take place during your treatment appointment. Previous tattooing or individual concerns may require assessment beforehand.
Is a touch-up included
No. Perfecting and touch-up appointments are separate. Check the online booking menu for current fees and discuss your individual needs with ELKA.
