A lash lift reshapes your own lashes so they sit with an upward curve, opening the eye. A tint deepens their visible colour, particularly at the fine, pale tips that tend to disappear without mascara.
Together they give a defined, put-together look. It suits people who would rather refine what they have than add to it.
What Is a Lash Lift & Tint?
A lash lift works with your natural lashes, reshaping them so they hold a softer, upward curve. Nothing is attached and nothing is added.
The tint darkens the lash along its length, which is often the more noticeable of the two for anyone whose lashes are naturally fair.
This is not the same as lash extensions. Extensions attach individual fibres to add length and volume. A lash lift changes the shape and colour of the lashes you already have, so the result is more understated.

What to Expect
Before your appointment
Your lashes need to be free of extensions. Come with clean lashes and no mascara, and let us know beforehand if you’ve ever reacted to hair dye or lash tint.
In the studio
Samira will look at your natural lashes and talk through what’s realistic for them, then carry out the lift and the tint in one appointment. Allow an hour.
Afterwards
A little care for the first 24 hours, and then back to normal. See below.
Results & Longevity
How long it lasts varies from person to person. Because lashes shed and regrow on their own cycle, the lift doesn’t stop suddenly — it softens gradually as newer, untreated lashes come through. The tint generally fades before the lift does.
Your own lash cycle, your aftercare and factors individual to you all affect it, which is why we’d rather talk it through with you than quote a fixed number of weeks.
Looking after your lashes
For the first 24 hours:
- Keep your lashes dry
- No mascara or eye makeup
- Avoid steam, saunas and swimming
And at any time, try not to rub or pick at your lashes.
After the first 24 hours, you can get your lashes wet and wear mascara as normal.

Not for the first 24 hours. After that, yes — as normal, though many people find they reach for it less often once their lashes are tinted.
Can I get my lashes wet?
Not for the first 24 hours. After that you can shower, wash your face and swim as usual.
Is it suitable for everyone?
Not always. Your lashes need to be free of extensions beforehand. If you have an eye condition, an eye infection, or have recently had surgery or a procedure around the eyes, tell us before you book and we’ll let you know whether to wait. The same goes if you’ve ever reacted to hair dye or lash tint.
