ELKA CLINIC is a cosmetic tattoo and advanced skin clinic in Subiaco, Perth. Cosmetic tattoo and skin treatments are carried out by different practitioners here, so you know who you are booking with — and what they actually do — before you arrive.

A small team, clearly defined
ELKA CLINIC is deliberately small. Cosmetic tattoo and advanced skin treatments call for different training, different tools and a different kind of attention, so we don’t ask one person to cover both.
Samira carries out the cosmetic tattoo work. Maryam carries out the skin treatments. Ellie founded the clinic and leads it. The practitioner who plans your treatment is the one who performs it, and they have the time to explain what they are doing and why.
It also means we can be straight with you about what a treatment will and will not do. Cosmetic tattoo is designed to settle into something that reads as your own features rather than as makeup. Skin work is a gradual process measured across a course of treatments, not a single appointment.
Ellie
Founder & CEO, MBA
Ellie founded ELKA CLINIC and leads it today. Her work sits around the treatment room rather than inside it — the standards the clinic holds itself to, how clients are looked after from first enquiry through to follow-up, and which services are offered and how they are delivered.
She is usually the first person you hear from when you contact the clinic, and she reads and replies to client feedback herself. The approach described across this website — honest advice, natural healed results, and taking the time to get a plan right before starting — comes from her.
Ellie does not perform treatments. Her role is clinic leadership, service standards and client experience.

Samira performs every cosmetic tattoo treatment at ELKA CLINIC. Her approach is gentle, precise and unhurried, and a good share of each appointment goes into the part clients rarely think about — shape, symmetry, how a brow sits with the eye it belongs to, and how a colour will settle once it has healed.
She holds a Master of Graphic Design, and the habits that come with it — proportion, line weight, balance — carry into the way she maps a brow or a lip before any pigment is placed.
Nothing permanent begins until you have seen the design and agreed with it. Where a result can be built in stages she would rather do that than commit to too much in one sitting, because it is far easier to add than to take away.

Maryam
Senior Skin TherapistPhD in Pharmacy
Maryam performs the skin treatments at ELKA CLINIC. She works to a plan rather than a fixed protocol: what your skin will tolerate on the day, how it responded to the previous session, and what is realistic across a course of treatments rather than after one.
Maryam holds a PhD in Pharmacy. That grounding in how ingredients behave on and in the skin shapes the questions she asks about what you are already using at home, and how she paces a course of treatments.
Expect a straightforward conversation about timeframes. Skin changes gradually, and she would rather set that expectation at the start than promise something a treatment cannot deliver. What she recommends depends on your skin, your concerns and what you are hoping to change.

Who will perform my treatment?
Care does not stop at the door
A good deal of what determines your result happens after you leave, so the appointment is not where our involvement ends.
Aftercare guidance
Before you leave, your practitioner takes you through what to do, what to avoid and what is normal during the healing period for your specific treatment.
Follow-up and perfecting
Where a treatment calls for it, a perfecting appointment is scheduled once the result has healed enough to be assessed properly rather than too early.
Ongoing support
If something does not look or feel the way you expected while you are healing, contact the clinic. We would far rather hear from you early than late.
